Autobiography
My name is Yon-Gjun Hou and I am now a senior studying in EE, Electrical Engineering. Using one sentence to describe my personality, "Never regret the consequence of what you did, but regret why you never did." I’m an extroverted person in private life, so there’s no chance of getting to know me, if you don’t start a conversation.
I am currently collaborating with other students to work on an independent study, and the theme is "Reconfigurable Modular Robot Motion Control”. We are divided into hardware and software groups supervised by Dr. Wei-Yu Chiu. The software team is responsible for the development of algorithms, using genetic algorithms to select genes and hybridize the excellent genes to get a better next generation. I am a member of the hardware team. Our team is responsible for tuning modular robots and make the hardware sensors learn the surrounding environment.
